Planned features and ideas for future versions of SONAN Location Launchpad.
Phase 2 Features
- File attachments — Upload and store files directly (lease PDFs, photos, COIs) using Cloudflare R2
- Notes per location — Freeform notes/comments per location with timestamps
- Task due date bulk assignment — Set due dates based on target opening date offset (e.g., "30 days before opening")
- Email notifications — Daily digest of overdue and due-today tasks via Cloudflare Email Workers
- Calendar view — Visual calendar showing all task due dates across locations
Phase 3 Features
- Multi-user support — Role-based access (Manager vs Staff) with Cloudflare Access groups
- Contractor portal — Read-only view for contractors showing their assigned tasks
- TI reimbursement tracker — Track TI submission, approval, and payment from landlord
- Opening day checklist — Separate checklist specifically for the day-of opening
- Photo documentation — Attach photos to tasks (delivery walkthrough, signage, buildout progress)
Long-Term Ideas
- Location comparison — Side-by-side comparison of metrics across locations
- Vendor database — Track contractors, sign companies, IT vendors with ratings
- Timeline Gantt view — Gantt chart of the opening timeline
- Automated reminders — Cron-based reminder emails using Cloudflare Workers Cron Triggers
- Integration with SONAN DIGITAL CRM — Link locations to the main CRM for unified reporting
- Post-opening KPI tracking — Link to RepairDesk and QuickBooks data for revenue vs target
Known Limitations (Current Version)
- No file storage — use external links (Google Drive, Dropbox) for documents
- No email notifications — check the dashboard manually for overdue tasks
- No multi-user roles — all authenticated users have full access
- Template changes do not backfill to existing locations
